Fort Walton Beach,
FL - My favorite visits were by sailboat. My family would sail to
Ft Walton on the way to Destin, FL many summers. Sometimes we would
drive to Ft Walton, it was only 40 miles from my home. Their beautiful
white sand beach is their claim to fame. Water activities of all types
are available: wind surfing, wind sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, wind
boarding, boating, fishing, canoeing and picnicking. I went scuba
diving in Ft Walton, but it is not as good as Pensacola.
