Pensacola Beach...
This is where I spent my endless days
as a boy! I wandered the beach daily in the summers. I would
drive to Pensacola Beach alone at night and play my trumpet with no one
around.
Pensacola Beach has sugar white sands and emerald green water.
The pristine beaches stretch for nearly 40 miles of the Gulf Coast.
There is always a secluded beach for the taking.
The Navy Blue Angels, who are based in
Pensacola, flew overhead almost daily, when they were in town. The
Lexington Aircraft Carrier was stationed in Pensacola, my whole
childhood. We would sail past it often.
Many of my friends were surfers.
I even surfed a little. The waves only averaged around 3 feet.
Sailboats were seen every time I was
at one of the many beaches in the area. We spent many days out on
Pensacola Bay or the Gulf of Mexico in our sailboat. My favorite part
of the day was watching the beautiful sunsets!!
